About the Book

Laughter Aloud is a light-hearted look at the author’s experiences expressed in prose and comic verse. The events and encounters are related in such a humorous way that the reader can often identify with them. This is a book to make one chuckle, and to indeed laugh aloud at the antics of the author as she travels in the United Kingdom and further afi eld. Her perception and descriptions provide entertainment throughout. A truly enjoyable book to which the reader will want to return many times.

About the Author

Mary Christine Levett was born in Somerset, England. She was educated in Taunton, and trained as a science teacher at Homerton College Cambridge, before embarking on a teaching career. In the 1980’s Mary decided on a change of career and trained to be a nurse before returning to teaching adults; both professions where a sense of humour is essential. Mary is now retired and lives in West Sussex, England. She enjoys travelling both at home and abroad. Her hobbies include gardening and walking in the countryside. Writing has become a passion and this is her second book.
