About the Author

Hi, I’m Carol. I wrote this series of study guides to make it easier for you to enhance your own skill set. I have used all the skills in my own life and seen great results so I wanted to share them with you. I really hope you find them useful and see good results too. I was born in Yorkshire and I feel like I have studied all my life. I went to university, then completed two masters and went on to become a psychologist. I carried on studying and found great overlap between leadership and management skills and psychology. So I began to design and deliver leadership and management training. I became a Trainer twelve years ago, ‘ I want to share my knowledge and experience and if only a few of you get something good out of it, then I’ve reached my goal. ‘You see, I have a great life. It is where I want it to be. It’s all down to expectations. I direct my life the way I want, I am in control and in return I focus on the results I want. Don’t expect too much from others and you don’t get disappointed. I am responsible for my life and I remind myself all the time.’ My children are near me and happy. I couldn’t wish for anymore.
