About the Author
Marie Louise Devitt is a Counsellor and Life Coach. She is married and a mother to three energetic boys. She has a background in Psychology, has completed post graduate training as a counsellor and has worked in a broad range of mental health settings. These include an Occupational Department within the NHS in Trafford and in a Family Counselling Centre also in Trafford. She now works in private practice in south west London. She also plans to undertake additional study, in particular MSc in Mental Health Studies at a prominent London University. She works, therapeutically, with a broad range of clients and deals with a broad range of client issues on a daily basis. These include depression, bereavement, relationship breakdown, work stress and low self esteem. The idea for this book came from the issues she would see come up regularly with her clients. The book also grew from her hope that the book would be helpful in supporting people who experience feelings of stress and could use some simple straight forward rules to addressing their stress.
