This book has true stories in rhyme covering my sixty years, There are a lot of memories of happy times and of tears. It‘s about things I did as a kid and remember well, And things I have done as an adult that are safe to tell. I’ve stories of friends that I have made throughout my working life, And of things I have wrote to and about my Mam and my darling wife. I have fi nished off my book with two rhymes that are a bit sad, To show you have to remember the good times along with the bad

About the Author

I was born 1951 in Workington, Cumbria, UK. I was the middle one of three brothers I went to school in Workington and served my apprenticeship at the local Steelworks as a Fitter. Married in 1974 to Chris then emmigrated to South Africa, stayed for fi ve years then returned to Workington. Chris and I have a daughter who is married with a son, and a son who is engaged to be married in 2012. I have been self employed for 30 years now and have worked at local fi rms in the area. I love beer and Rugby Union.
