About the Book

I. A. D.O.M is a collection of poems, rhymes, prose and compositions. It is a refection of the author’s philosophy. This first anthology is based on the simple truth that words and poetry is a part of everyday living. Poetry celebrates everything taking the simple and the ordinary and making it into the happy and wonderful, the sad and mournful, joys and laughter. In the process it helps us to heal, remember and to share our thoughts with others. This is why I.A.D.O.M in its simple form comes from the heart. The range and selection of work, is a celebration of the different emotions that touch our lives as it connects us with one another.

About the Author

Faith Langaigne-Jessamy was born in Grenada. She was educated at Concord Government School, St George’s Institute of Secretarial Studies and the Pitman College London England and has taught at the Grenada Institute of Secretarial Studies before starting her own School in 1959. In 1989 –2007 she lectured at T.A Marryshow College, Grenada. She is an active member of her community and church, delegate member of the Grenada Cooperative Nutmeg Association and Grenada Cocoa Association. She enjoys reading, writing and traveling, She is ardent about gardening and is a productive producer of nutmegs and cocoa and many kitchen vegetables. She was awarded the Queen’s Medal in 2010.
