About the Book
This book is a memorial that houses past experiences, present dilemmas and aspirations of the African woman in South Africa. It takes the reader on a journey that unveils her essence through poetry. This book is her-story in poetry, albeit through limited lenses. To the African female, it is a mirror that refl ects her past scars, her beauty, her nobility and royal status, her resilience and the spark of hope in her eyes. It also serves to emancipate, inspire and to rekindle hope for true freedom and restoration. For the rest of the human race, it is a monument that rebukes, inspires, educates and dares to love.
