About the Book

In the tradition of "Atlas Shrugged" and "Unintended Consequences", this is a story about how people respond to encroachments on their freedom.  Beginning with an ancient episode of "original sin" (pre-history´s first malpractice case) the story moves to just beyond present day and delves into the often contentious relationship between physicians and attorneys.  It deals with the way that some practitioners of the law use it as their private playground for profit, while others in government pervert the law to set themselves up as masters over a once free people.

The “science fiction” element of the story involves references to principles of higher order physics theory, creating symbolic props for the protagonists’ responses. It is, ultimately, a story of rebellion by individuals who finally refuse to submit to tyranny within a society that is deteriorating into despotism.
