Dallas James was born in 1950 in Sacramento, California but has lived most of his life in Seattle, Washington. He is a Christian who has spent over 30 years studying and comparing Bible translations. He is also the author of The Alpha Parchments - Urim-Thummim Version [ISBN 0-595-09961-0], which is a new translation of the first five books of the Bible, commonly referred to as The Torah.
