About the Book
Dear Reader:
Thank you for your interest in my work. I am sure you would all like to know what inspired me to write this book, if I ever figure it out I will let you know. However, I can tell you that writing a book has been an amazing process and the feeling of satisfaction that I have received from looking at the finished product is impossible to put into words. I know my little book of poems may never win any awards or bring me lots of money and fame, but that is not what is important here. What is important nonetheless, is that I set out to do something and I did it. The whole lesson behind my book is that you have to do what you love, because it defines you. A good friend once told me that if you find what you love and,do it, you will never work a day in your whole life. ( I guess she meant you better find something you like that pays well…) Self discovery is a long road full of twists and turns. The whole reason I chose a road to parallel the journey of life is because like life, roads are almost never smooth they have their bumps and twists and curves and dead ends. Each obsticle in life brings a new challenge, and through facing these challenges we find out more about ourselves, and only with faith and wisdom can we find the strength to carry on when things get tough. My advice is to try something new everyday, and if something doesn’t work out so what? Its not the end of the road keep trying until you figure out what works.
Love Always,
Marissa L. Taffer
