Tales from Cayucos

About the Book

Cayucos Middle School students have taken part in this first foray into professional publishing.  Students often are stalled in the writing process by limits on subject or length.  In this “experiment” into writing and publishing, there were no limits.  Any genre, any subject, any length.  Students were free to create and they certainly did.  Many stories will surprise you, as they did their editor, wondering where did these ideas come from?  They certainly didn’t limit themselves to “writing what they know.”  And we hope they never do.
