About the Book

The story is about the relationship between a girl and her new pet. The pet is mystical and brings great joy and adventure to the little girl. Where do they go and what do they do? What does the little girl learn? Who is Maxine? You'll have to read the story and find out.

About the Author

I am a mother and a foster mom to a three year old living in North Florida. I work with disabled children in the public school system. I am a nurse, health educator, Life and business coach. My major is in Healthcare Administration and will be finishing my BS degree in that field shortly. I like to go hiking and exploring the outdoors with photography. Creative writing is my passion and helping people is my desire. I enjoy writing in different genres, but the most exciting is children's books.
