Paradise lost is paradise found, when three seeking souls set out to find the solution to the hunger of their hearts.  Their journeys to the Mountain of the Winds bring them face to face with the truth - discovering that unconditional acceptance, love, and purpose can only be found in Finding Aloha.

The idea of a king who would care, was just too wonderful for someone so sad and afraid like Leilani to imagine.  But still, the romantic ideals of the rainbows of Kupau Island danced within her heart, filling her with a small ray of hope.  "Someone has to love me, just because I am.  Someone has to."

 "I´m afraid of what they´ll think of me," Hana answered, wiping the tears from her face.  "What if they don´t like me any more?" she cried.  "But most of all, what if I get hurt again?  I couldn´t bear it, I just couldn´t bear it!"  Reluctantly, she conceded . . . "Love is good, even if there is a risk of it hurting."

"It seems that life is just one day after another.  The sun rises and it sets.  The river run to the sea, only to repeat its course again."  Dakota looked over at Cesar´s puzzled face, returned to him, and sat down. "Cesar, the winds blow down the mountain side, rushing out to sea, only to return in the morning.  Why?  There must be more to life than merely going though the paces, waiting to die."

Will Leilani find acceptance in The Secret Place?  Is it possible for Hana to love again - or will she forever remain an Island Hideaway?  Will Dakota ever find the answer to his question - is one born only to die - or will he always be Chasing the Wind?  

People are hungry.  For truth.  For freedom.   Something is missing.  Something is wrong.  What or who can fill the vacant echoes in our hearts?  Acceptance by people?  The love of a spouse?  All the money in the world?  We´ve tried everything, but we can´t help but feel that something is missing.  Does God smile?  Does He dance?  Does He talk?  Does He know my name - or that I even exist?

Take your own journey, alongside Leilani, Hana, and Dakota.  Go with them as they make their way to the top of the Mountain of the Winds to find the meaning of life, the safety of pure love, and as they come face to face with the breath of life - Aloha, the King of Love.

S.E. Montroy is an artist and a writer. Raised in Chappaqua, New York, she has lived in Kona, Hawaii, and is currently residing in Los Angeles, California. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a major in Fine Art, from Biola University in Southern California.
