About the Author

Dan Matson is a painter and poet whose art reflects unique techniques in both forms. His gallery shows include large constructs as well as wall hangings, to bring viewers into the art. Similarly, his poetic statements about art immerse the mind in a flow of thought that transcends its usual boundaries. The author resides in Mid-Michigan and has observed art on several continents. He became intensely involved in the visual arts while exploring the Island of Tasmania where he spent a year’s sabbatical from his law practice. Both professions continue, each of them sustaining the other artfully.
