About the Book

This book consists of 10 chapters, each of which describes key concepts leading to a deeper and effortless awareness of who we really are using the eyes of God in all of our daily activities. We will see the power of love in all that we encounter, as our blocks to love fall away and we shed our unnecessary cloaks to warm ourselves in the rays of God's guiding and gracious light. We seek within to reveal the illumination of Love's childlike qualities in simplicity and faith.

Within each chapter along our spiritual path, two meditations will be offered to you, one waking meditation, and the other a guided visual imagery. These will be fully explained in each chapter. The waking meditation will be a practical way of choosing to correct our thought habits through the active use of miracles that we both co-create and appreciate as they are shown to us. The guided imagery can be practiced in a quiet spot with God's inspirational guidance. The more we are open to daily miracles, the quicker will be our relief from what we have experienced as stress; the greater the transformation to a mind open to and even expecting the blessings that God has in store for us. Can you see how joyful this all can be? All you need do is open the door and God's light shall enter!

Is it clear to you within your inner knowing self that it is much easier to have a happy day to the extent that you can keep unhappy thoughts from entering your mind's awareness? As we practice the meditations recommended in the following spiritual program laid out in the chapters of this book, we most fully find ourselves within our present NOW. NOW we can enjoy God's gifts, rather than placing our small minds within the illusion of Hell. We often create these illusions with habits of self-punishment through Guilt (past), or self-abuse through doubts of our capacity to handle what may be set before us (future). Only this moment do we have. Thoughts of past or future pre-occupations are diversions away from the glory of God's love. Free yourself from those pre-occupations and allow the constant and heartfelt companion of the Holy Spirit to walk with you in your daily spiritual journey.

The practice of loving thoughts makes each relationship in your life a Holy Encounter. This occurs as God is invited into your mind's awareness and helps you correct your perceptions of lack of love in any encounter. Decisions to seek the Voice for God in these encounters are what transform them into moments of joy and peace. So, what kind of day would you like to have? One based on the feeling of being in a cocoon, or one in which you are the butterfly, pollinating the flowers which are awaiting your instigation? And so as you give, you shall receive. As you have received, so must you give.

The following concepts are points of meditative focus helpful in transforming our minds.

· The Holy Spirit, The Voice for God

· Giving and Receiving Miracles

·  Forgiveness as Salvation

· What is Creation

· What is the Child of God within

· What is the Real World

· I Am

Each concept is simply and practically explained with illustrations. The order of the spiritual path laid out in these chapters faithfully leads us progressively away from our dependence upon the attachment to our ego thought system; a system based upon perceived fears and the need for self protection. We develop a welcome reliance upon the ever-deepening awareness of our ‘Child of God Within’ who is our true companion in love's One connection with all others.

God bless you for your courage in what I hope will be a fascinating undertaking for you.

As you read this book, please begin your own mind retraining discipline by simply asking yourself two questions as often as you can think of them. These questions are: "Why peace of mind?" and " Why peace of mind now?" The choice we make to focus our thoughts upon these questions is a decision we make right now. It is not the kind
