About the Book
Born into poverty with the sense of having no right to be, I began the long journey of the life known as Sharon Shaw. Genetically I was alcoholic, but that would take many years to surface with no question as to my having this disease. Prior to my going to school, I had decided that I would be validated if I was very smart and set out to find that affirmation of self through learning.
