About the Author

Maria Richard is a seminar leader, writer and speaker. She’s been a guest expert on gender communications and other topics for several local radio and television programs. People and their behavior fascinate her. This interest led to her study of the many aspects of human communication and behavior, including the Empowerment Method, and Neuro Linguistic Programming. Later, this on-going interest evolved into the workshops and programs she presents on gender traps, goal setting, public speaking, empowerment and communication skills. "Your true-to-life examples gave everyone in the audience a cohesive understanding of "gender traps" and how to correct and benefit from them." —Kim Collins, Program Director, Executive Women International, Phila., PA
