Summary

An orphan is the only hope. Martin DeCateur must fight to save the cursed world from oblivion at the hands of evil, fighting against a necromancer who brought about the cataclysm and the armies of the dead that rise from the fallen. They are losing and hope is dwindling. Together, they must restore the benevolent races back to their greatness or be destroyed.

About the Author

About The Author Eric C. Lafferty was born in July of 1968 and currently lives by himself inArkansas City, Kansas. He has written several short stories and is currently working on the next book in the "Nexus World Saga." There have been many jobs in his life and one was as a communcations operator in the U.S. Army, where he served for eight years and ten days from 1987 to 1995. During his time abroad, he has been able to see a good many things that have influenced his work. "It's the people that matter and they are my greatest influence when writing. I write fiction and hope to continue doing so for many years, so long as you, the reader, continue to read my works." Mister Lafferty has worked several jobs from a Car Hop at a drive-in to a day labor in Colorado Springs and a packing house. "I'm no stranger to manual labor and I'm not above breaking a sweat. My double hernia was proof of that."
