About the Book
An unlikely couple meet in a Las Vegas bar. Other than an immediate dislike for one another, their common denominator being that they are both suffering from an intense case of rebound. Samantha leads her life as a burned out secretary and Stephen is an international film star. Despite their occupational differences, the Las Vegas lights, wild rides, music, biting sarcasm, fine food and more than a dash of alcohol, seems to be the perfect combination for a romantic elixir. Assisting in their escapade are their friends, Tom and Gina, who would never be described as unassuming, reserved or otherwise commonplace people. Simple, short, sweet, romantic and sure to cure the common frown.
About the Author
Wendy writes like a clown being chased by a psychotic English professor—silly, a little unnerving, and hopefully the professor will catch her and finally teach her how to write properly. She divides her time between writing, running with her dog, begging her two small children to eat their meals and pretending she’s a witty scholar to her loving husband. Wendy has also written “Swimming Home from Las Vegas” and “Throwing April.”
