About the Book
TEACHER, TEACHER I DECLARE! and Other Little Tattle Tales contains twenty stories thematically related in that they all have to do with teachers. Not all are classroom stories, and sometimes the fact that the characters are teachers is incidental. But they all concern grownups on the edge of something risky, often a bit mad, sometimes mighty mad. The stories don't shrink from sex or from violence, and yet there is also a good measure of sardonic whimsy involved.
