About the Book

New England in the fall, should be the most beautiful of seasons, the most exciting, but Dianne Ashcroft literally can’t see the trees for the danger lurking beyond the forest.  From the moment she discovers her husband is dealing heavily in drugs, her life is forfeit.  Even though her husband, Bob, is in jail, his worse men are seeking to torture and silence her.

Hoping to gain time, she is hiding out in her sister’s cabin in the back area of New Hampshire.  Desperate, she turns to neighbors who are involved in a cult.  But they seem so nice, so normal, just a little weird.  Who isn’t?  Mark, the leader, is a true hunk.  Jorgen, one of the other men is everything she could wish for in a perfect man.  Not only do outside forced cause fear, but there are now dangers from her neighbors as well.  Her secret no longer is a secret and there is danger from every direction.

About the Author

Ann S. Ritchie was born in Boston, Mass descended from parents both born in Scotland. Great loving parents encouraged their children’s dreams. Ann’s dream was always to become a writer. Reading and writing were the best part of her days. Marriage and family kept her from much writing until all the 6 children were in school. Then Ann attempted her first magazine articles, which were a success. Encouraged, she went on to write a book. Before it’s publication, she went on to write two more and collaborate with her sister and dear friend on another still in the works. From parents, to family and friends, the support of all helps Ann to become happy and successful.
