About the Author

Rand Newman is Corporate Counsel with Hewlett-Packard Company, based in San Diego. He grew up in Santa Clara Valley, and began his career with HP at the company’s Silicon Valley (Palo Alto) headquarters. Rand has studied creative writing over the years, with credits in both film and prose. His first novel, Wind River, was published by Raven Press in 1992.
