About the Author
Joanna is a single woman on her own, working for the Gloucester School System. Gloucester, Massachusetts is well known for its fine fishermen and her family is no exception. Her Grandfather Peter, as well as her Great Grandfather and great uncles, have spent their lives at sea. As a little girl, her Grandmother Frances would tell a story of her Great Grandmother, who was found floating in the ocean on a small raft. She brings this story to you, that still remains a mystery to her family until this day.
