About the Book

I am so in love with my dogs. They do speak to me, and Sam did say these words of warmth and gentleness, of smiles, of hope and refreshingly simple perception.

BUNDLES is a celebration of life through photographs of dogs, their people and friends. Sam’s innocent observations and narrative of love, adaptation, trust and tolerance are touching. His logic is so precise. And, of course, he and his sister, Sadie, absolutely love the limelight, unlike their “big mommy Meghan” who is just learning not to run away from cameras.

The concept evolved from dog parties to “wouldn’t it be fun to take funny pictures and say funny things about the pictures.” I shared the idea with Troy, an accomplished architectural and interior photographer, who happens to even be allergic to dogs, and we began a totally delightful experience. It’s all true, except Tiger, the cat, didn’t really stick out his tongue as he ran out the door after not being invited to the dog party.

Sam, Sadie and Meghan…you have brought so much more than just yourselves. Thank you for sharing.
