About the Book

Chinna Carpenter, a licensed nurse turned big city cop, was born and reared in the rural south. Upon graduating from high school it was obvious to Chinna that the south had nothing worthy to indulge her in, so she gallantly traded the south for the Midwest. She worked as a compassionate nurse until the economics and health care benefits offered by the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department lured her into the path of ultimate excitement and fulfillment.

Chinna returned to the rural south after enjoying twenty-five years of a beautiful midwestern lifestyle to fulfill a promise to the man she had loved since she was 16.

During her second round in Louisiana Chinna attended Cloyds Beauty School and obtained her cosmetology license. After securing license Chinna went to Kernersville, North Carolina and enrolled in Dudley University’s Salon Training and Enhancement Program.

Chinna Carpenter currently owns her own hair salon where she cuts and styles hair in an artistic way.
