About the Book

About the Author

A.N. Carter began writing at age twelve. “What began with short stories has evolved into a love of telling a story. My heroes have always been cowboys”, Ms. Carter states and that love of the west translates into vivid story telling rich with color, adventure and dialogue. An infatuation with the beauty of Montana’s beautiful mountain country inspired Ms. Carter to write ‘Switchback Trail’ and the call of western lore continues to be an inspiration.
