Therese M. Ronan lives independently in the community in Overland Park, Kansas, and works in the housekeeping department of a local retirement center. She turned to writing to tell her story—through her own eyes—so others can understand her and her world. Her goal is to help others with autism, as well as their families, teachers, caregivers, and other support personnel.
