About the Book
The point: a writer can make money in many fields.
Do keep in mind that the struggle to get published is worth the effort - not for the money, but more importantly, the autograph parties, the speaking events, where you are looked on with awe by both young adults, older adults, and children, and you know your creation will bring them, or has brought them a few hours of worthwhile pleasure. I am proud to hold the honor of having drawn the most people to a bookstore in one day, ever - in the deep south. Also, I was inducted into the Louisiana Hall of Fame in 1984.
These are the rewards money can’t buy.
