The View from my Window

About the Book

“The View from my Window -- Poems and Prayers” is a collection of poetry that came together over many years of my life. These poems came into being at times when something touched me deeply, -- traveling with friends, a deep encounter with another person or some inner experience or dream that moved my soul. They cover 30 years of my life and a variety of experiences. They range from the simple joy of sitting in my garden to an appreciation of the animal companions in my life, the joy of witnessing the birth of a child or remembering the death of a friend. They speak of the people who have been close and important in my life, and of the people of the world who I encountered in my many travels. These poems are reflections of my own spiritual journey through the years of my life. Irene Seeland
