About the Book
Has the Communion service become so ritualistic, so superficial you leave the service feeling something is lacking? You know in your heart it should be meaningful and fulfilling, yet you feel this empty void. Surely this is not what Jesus meant when he said, “Take eat: This is my body, which is broken for you: DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.”
This book is written in simple, easy to understand language for everyone, as well as the clergy. Ten sermon’s explaining why we partake, who is eligible and how everyone may prepare to receive. Prayers are included for church service or family worship. Jesus gave his life for all mankind. All he asks is, "Remember me."
About the Author
The love of exploring the deeper meaning of the scriptures was instilled in me from childhood. Listening to sermons my father made come alive have found expression in my own sermons and in this book. Post depression days he founded a School of Ministry to teach young converts, free of charge, who had the desire and the calling, but could not afford to go to Bible college. He worked full time as a carpenter to provide for his family. I assisted him by taking his selected subjects, running references in Strong’s concordance and writing lessons for the class in long hand. This training I received assisting my father has been invaluable and has served me well. I am truly blessed!
