About the Book

The insightful poetry within this book came from a Traumatic Brain Injury that I received 3 days before Christmas in 2009. A snowboarder recklessly mowed me down and I was unconscious for approximately 15 minutes. When I awoke, I had double vision but the fi rst thing I saw were my two sons who accompanied me on this tragic and short ski trip. Since this accident, God has given me a gift of poetry writing for whatever reason. Th at’s My Life is a book from the head, the heart and the home. My true feelings are in this book and I felt a need to write it. I want to thank my lovely wife and loving children who gave me additional inspiration.
