Dalmatian Road

About the Book

Dalmatian Road was written after having a conservation with my son on the way home from school. I was looking at the road and said "Brock, look at all the patches on this road from when they filled in pot holes with blacktop over the years!" There were several different shades of black to light grey. With a matter of fact, Brock said "Mom, this is a Dalmatian road! Not a patched road!" Looking at life through a child’s eyes can be a real enjoyable experience. I hope you enjoy the rhyming as much as we did on that drive home. We really do live in a Dalmatian world.

About the Author

Paula Jo Blubaugh is now a retired teacher after 31 years of teaching elementary students. She lives with her husband, Martin, on the family farm in rural Ohio. She has one son, Brock. She enjoys decorating and writing stories and recently about their dog Buckeye and her crazy antics as she patrols their farm. Look for stories about Buckeye in the near future.
