About the Book
Writings of the Heart offers a special experience for every reader as they walk down memory lane with the author, Lorraine Dewberry Erickson. Spanning a lifetime of over seventy-nine years, the experiences and strong feelings of the author have materialized for the first time in her joyful and sometimes sad words in over sixty poems. Her writings reflect a strong love for family and an enduring faith in God, but most of all, they were an instrument of healing for a sorrowful heart. See the joy and pain she experienced in every role of life, feel the love she had for many, and lastly, know that God was with her through it all.
