Jack and Sammy are very good friends! Although they love to hang out together and simply enjoy life in the 3rd grade…these boys are very different from one another! Jack is very respectful and laid back. Sammy, however, is very rude and doesn’t consider other peoples feelings when he speaks. Jack and Sammy will learn a lot about friendship and manners during their 3rd grade school year in Mrs. Patty’s class! The ride is a bit bumpy, but in the end…everyone is a winner!

About the Author

Candace J. Avents is a native of Portsmouth, VA. Candace is a graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. Educating children is her passion and has been her goal since her high school years! Candace has been working in the fi eld of Early Childhood Education for over ten years in Suff olk, VA. Candace is a loving wife and a mother of two beautiful children. Over the past few years, she has developed a love for writing and creatively reinforcing little lessons about life to young readers. After surviving a fi ght with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (diagnosed in May 2012)…she knew she could no longer wait to share her creative works with the world!
