About the Book

What do a new teacher, a college dropout, a recently widowed woman with a young daughter, and an overweight college co-ed have in common? They all find themselves in Summerfield, a small quiet college town where nothing out of the ordinary ever seems to happen – at least not until they move there. The women are all seeking the same things – a satisfying career, a sense of accomplishment, and stability in their love life. They soon find themselves in the middle of adventures they never dreamed would happen. About the Author

Dianne H. Lundy grew up in the piney hills of north Louisiana, establishing her country roots. She was an active 4-H member, winning the Key Club Award her senior year. She decided to put those skills to use by obtaining a B.S. degree in vocational home economics from Harding University in Arkansas. She taught for thirty-three years in Louisiana schools, later obtaining two graduate degrees and being named to “Who’s Who Among American Teachers” five times. She met her husband, Richard, on the radio while carpooling with a ham radio operator. They married and had one son, who is now married with three young daughters. After retiring, she now devotes her time to writing and spending time with the granddaughters, affectionately known as “The A-Team.” After writing her humorous autobiography, “The Girl from Nip ‘n’ Tuck,” she now writes fictional stories.
