About the Book

A failure as a husband and a father, marine biologist Walt Crawler must find a secret antidote for his youngest daughter when a chemical disaster strikes his family amidst the dunes of a Nantucket beach.  As his daughter wastes away in a hospital bed, Walt begins a desperate search for the antidote, only to find himself in the midst of a plot that threatens the nation’s entire environmental movement.  With the clock ticking towards disaster, Walt is forced to confront the ghosts of his ruined family while untangling a treacherous trail of murder and deceit that stretches across the country.  From operating in Level A, Full Dressout chemical response suits to feeling his way through a pitch-black gold mine, Walt must rely on others in a way he never has before, learning firsthand the bitter truth that some debts can only be paid in blood.

About the Author

Craig A. Kelley served as a Marine Corps infantry officer at the end of the Cold War and currently works as an environmental consultant to the Army Reserves. Mr. Kelley has received training in hazardous incident response operations, hazardous material sampling, and environmental risk communication. He is the co-author of an environmental compliance guidebook. His first novel, Full Dressout, is based on real life incidents involving buried bombs and chemical dumps. Mr. Kelley lives in Cambridge, MA with his wife and two sons.
