About the Book

This first book of children's poetry is meant to be humorous and educational for the younger set, by a grandma who has become a poet since brain surgery 5 years ago, inspired by grandson Sebastian who loves to listen and learn.

About the Author

I am retired after practicing medicine (gynecology) for 50 years. This ability (as I like to call it) to create poetry came about suddenly. I now travel buses to get around town and always think in terms of creating something interesting, politics and current events top my list. But my grandson (who is now 5) loves storytelling. So, I got into the children's poetry thing. I am the mother of 7 and the grandmother of 7. Imagine what an interesting, exciting retirement life I have.
