About the Book

Breena and her grandmother are surprised by a most unusual guest, a baby elephant. They do their best to take care of him but they know they must find a better home for him. The perfect place for him takes them far away from home.

About the Author

Louise Diaz is a retired college administrator. She was born and educated in Jersey City, New Jersey as were her children. She has many fond memories of the customs and the people that she grew up with in her neighborhood “on the hill”. Her first children’s book, “Anything for Thanksgiving”, describes one holiday tradition that was a part of her childhood. She now lives with her husband and two cats in rural, southeast Virginia.
