About the Author

Michael J. Hanson and Max S. Kay are long-time friends and graduated from Claremont McKenna College in Economics and Math and Economics respectively in May 2001. Michael, age 22, lives in San Francisco where he works in Finance. This is his second book. His first novel: The Heroes’ Republic, was published in July of 2000. Max, age 22, lives in Palo Alto where he is an investment banker. This is his first book, of which a portion has already been published and won the award for “Best Thesis in Philosophy or Religion” at Claremont McKenna College Spring 2001.
