About the Book

Love Poems contains thoughts of love, or dreams of love. Many of the poems appear to be written seriously, as an afterthought or hastily put together, with meaning and passion. Some were written on paper towels, napkins, tissue anything that could be written on, a shredded piece of paper, have a poem grab a pen of anything, it did not matter as long as the words could be put down. Richie was known for waking up throughout the night if a poem came to mind! You could tell by the date, signature and time written down. So prepare to sit back and enjoy.

About the Author

Affectionately known as Richie, Don Ricardo! Born in 1951 to Edith and Richard McGee, Jr. he was the oldest of six children. A sports player, 1969 graduate from Hopewell Central High School, he entered college in the Midwest at Huron University, South Dakota for a short stay majoring in Mechanical Drawing. Richie enjoyed a long and vibrant life in California. He passed away in Oklahoma leaving a strange and unfilled void in our lives, we miss him and the mourning continues.
