About the Book

Do you need some encouraging words, something to lift your spirits? Do you need to be reminded that you are special? That it is okay to be you, different and unique. Well, I have put together a collection of mostly Christian poems straight from my heart to yours. They are meant to inspire and encourage the reader. I have also included some of my amateur hand-sketched art and believe me, I am so amazed how God brought the two of them together (poems and sketched artwork). I believe you'll enjoy my book. This country girl spoke from her heart honestly.

About the Author

I'm a married Houstonian who God blessed with three wonderful children. I've been married for 16 years to C. E. Williams, a man I love dearly. I started writing poems nearly four years ago, prior to that I had never penciled my thoughts or emotions on paper. My first poem, "At Peace," was written after my mother's passing. God used writing as a healing tool for me. I never expected to write a book of poems. This is all new to me, but the Lord isn't surprised at all. He knew this day would come. He is so, so good!
