About the Book

Upwellings is a collection of poems that are all sudden inspirations that convey the emotions I felt at the given time in my life (primarily in High School), hence the title. The poems are in chronological order, ranging from 1998 to the present, and have never been revised. I wish to preserve how things have changed over time. Upwellings is a look into my past, a revelation of where I’ve been, and hopefully you will be able to relate to or take comfort in at least one of the poems I’ve written. So this is my heart. About the Author

Sean Kahlich is a student at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. He was born and raised in Valley Center, KS and has an older sister and brother who still live there. He moved to Friendswood, TX with his parents in 1998. Sean has participated in many diverse hobbies and activities, such as leading worship with guitar, attending Young Life, being a camp counselor, even once holding a Guinness World Record, to name a few. He also has participated in many traditional sports as well as non-traditional ones, like eXtreme Croquet. He has volunteered with Drama for Vacation Bible School since 1998. He currently is a Games Director for 2nd graders for the Grace Bible Church AWANA program in College Station, TX. Ultimately, Sean wishes to graduate and attend seminary and pursue a vocational ministry.
