About the Book

Sisters Jennifer and Heather are close, but lead very different lives.  When Jennifer disappears Heather begins a frantic search.  She finds the love and support she needs in the arms of Jessie, the police officer helping her find Jennifer.

Through a gift willed to her by her parents, Jennifer is taken back in time to a new life, and a love she didn’t think she would ever find.  

Alex, a Captain in the Union Army, is ready to go to war at Wilson’s Creek in 1861 when Jennifer suddenly appears in his camp.  He doesn’t quite know what to think of Jennifer.  She talks funny, she dresses funny, and she refuses to tell him where she came from.
