About the Book

The Heart of the Journey is a collection of poems that depict the good times and bad times in the author’s earlier life as a young Christian. Written to relate to the readers as well as to express raw emotion; each poem puts special emphasis on specific subject matters. This revised edition of the first release in 2004 by Chad E. Taylor will hopefully capture your heart and your soul’s longing for a more intimate relationship with your Creator God and His Son Jesus Christ. The Heart of the Journey will hopefully provoke your emotional needs, thoughts and understanding of where you are at in your personal journey to bring a better peace in your life.

About the Author

Chad E. Taylor, 38 years old, grew up in rural Spencer, Indiana and lived there until he went to college in 1994. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Indiana State University in 1998 and later graduated from Lincoln Christian University in 2009 with a Master’s of Arts in Ministry with special emphasis in pastoral care and counseling. He, his wife Amber and daughter Angelique currently live in Seymour, Indiana where he works for Terminix Pest Control in full-time ministry and Preaches part-time when called upon. This is Pastor Taylor’s second publication for poetry with hopes of more publications for ministry to come.
