About the Book

All Women, young and old, are seeking to discover who they are and how to express the fullness of their beings as women. In the past century, the power of womanhood has become stronger, yet we continue to explore how to embody and share our uniquely female experience, feelings and spirituality. As women of Mother Earth, we have a great creative capacity to conceive, nourish and guide others.

Vivian Hester Bennerson, or Mother B as she is lovingly called by the many she has counseled over the years, is a vibrant being with unusual passion for life. Her poetic voice is straight from the heart of the Divine Feminine, powerful, loving, and pure. Like a sword of truth, she cuts to core issues and gives expression to deep thoughts and feelings many of us are afraid even to acknowledge. Reading her poems, prayers, stories and contemplations is a freeing experience, at times startling. [This book holds a secret - - open randomly, SAVOUR each word.] Gently but firmly she leads us toward wisdom, healing and self knowledge.

Mrs. Bennerson earned a B.A. degree from Vermont College of Norwich University. Her studies focused on Psychology, Black History, and Herstorical Studies. She is also a graduate of New York’s LongRidge Writers Group. Born in Washington, D.C., she has lived in the Virgin Islands for most of her life, pursuing writing, art, mythology, spiritual counseling and dedication to young people, for which she has received numerous awards over the years. From her Cherokee heritage, her Native American name is Shee Shee Knee Waa.
