I’ll explain everything later.” Claudia turned to face him, prepared to level him with another stinging retort, but she was stopped by the cold gleam of ferocity in his eyes. It was an expression she had never seen before. Fraught with hostility and impending violence, she felt a quick chill, like something electric. For the first time Claudia was afraid of Alec Denny.

About the Author

Barbara Neal was born in Winthrop Massachusetts. In 1963 she came to San Francisco where she worked as a showgirl and bartender. When she was thirty-eight, with only an eleventh grade education Barbara went back to school and received a masters degree in film journalism. In 1976 she went back to school and received a Masters Degree in Film and Journalism. In 1985 she founded Free Spirit Productions, a non-profit organization whose mission is to teach self respect and confidence to homeless and at-risk youth through public outreach and the Arts – Filmmaking, dance, Drama, Music and Art. Barbara opened her doors and her heart to the homeless, gang members , youth with AIDS, those with drug problems and the inner-city poor. The efforts of Barbara Neal and her kids have met with rousing success: Award winning documentaries, Hailed performances around the country by the Free Spirit Choir and most importantly helping Youths win Life’s daily battles. Besides being Director of Free Spirit Productions, Barbara is writing a musical combining the talent of inner-city youth and celebrities in a production about homelessness. She has written several childrens stories. Naked Obsession is her first adult novel..
