About the Author
Mitzi J Fernander is a native of the Bahamas and the visionary of Women of the Word Outreach Ministry located in Nassau, Bahamas. Called into full time ministry in November 2007, Ms. Fernander answered the call of the Lord after serving for 24 years as a Registered Nurse in the public and private sectors of the Bahamas. In January 2008 she was led to Calabash Bay to serve under the tutelage of Apostle Dorinda E. Dean and was ordained a year later to the office of Prophetess. After transitioning back to Nassau she served in several ministries in her calling and as a prayer intercessor. Her passion and love for hurting women, the youth and destitute has taken her throughout the islands of the Bahamas and the United States of America; holding women’s conferences, preaching and teaching the word of God. Ms. Fernander is also a gifted motivational speaker and mentor. She also extends her hand to the poor through food and clothing donations. She is the published author of the book Sex, Lies & Salvation: Removing the Mask, a contributing author in the Women of Great Faith Volume 111, a magazine distributed throughout the women prisons in the United States of America and also the author of the booklet Breaking Free from Anger. Ms. Fernander is currently working on her third literary work Broken in Pieces: For His Glory, which is scheduled for release in early 2015. She is presently a member of the Mt. Carey Union Baptist Church, serving with Reverend Warren Anderson on the intercessory prayer team. She is the proud mother of five sons, Antoine, D’angelo (deceased), Ramon, Dominick and Lyndano and grandmother of four beautiful children Antrell, Deasia, Amyo and Antoine Jr. She presently resides in Nassau, Bahamas with her family.
