About the Book

Amanda Gittelman lives in San Juan Capistrano, California. She is a junior at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School and has attended the same school for 15 years. Amanda and Caitlin have been puppet show performers for 5 years and are now puppet show authors. Both of these stories originated as puppet shows. Amanda has been on the varsity volleyball team for three years and the team has been CIF Champion for three years. She is a member of National Charity League and has been a counselor at Special Camp for Special Kids since 7th grade. She is also on the Headmaster’s Honor Role and listed in “Who’s Who Among High School Students – 2002.” Caitlin Sickler lives in Dana Point, California with her brother, mom, dad, three dogs, four cats, one parrot and one ferret. She is a junior at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School, where she and Amanda have been classmates and friends since pre-school. Caitlin has always been active in the arts, she sang and performed in school plays. A dancer for several years, her favorite role was the Sugar Plum Fairy. She is now on the Varsity Cheer Squad. She enjoys community service and is a member of National Charity League. She plays to attend college in Boston. She would like to be a psychiatrist. Her favorite book is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
