About the Book

It’s graduation day for Sia Walker. As she and her best friend are walking to school, two men attempt to kidnap Sia. This is the beginning of an adventure that takes her from California to London, Amsterdam, and Cairo, all in an attempt to find her father, who has mysteriously disappeared while working at an archaeological site near the pyramids. Only as she nears her final destination, a secret temple deep below the Sphinx, does Sia begin to understand why she is at the center of so much drama and danger.

About the Author

After many years as an English teacher in southern California, the author is now working as a jazz trumpet player and composer, traveling widely and often, much to the chagrin of his three cats. This novel is dedicated to a loving family, Pri and Phoebe.
