About the Book

The novel is fiction and tells the story of Jackie, a young female college professor who is abducted by aliens. A friendship develops and the alien returns to live with Jackie. The alien has taken on the shape of a beautiful woman. She is full of preconceived ideas about humans, none of them flattering, and confronts life among humans with a certain arrogance and cynicism, but she is won over by the charm and wit of her former abductee. The two become inseparable and experience many hairraising adventures. A more sinister purpose for the appearance of the stranger is slowly being revealed and in the end, the two of them – together – execute a daring rescue. This is a romantic adventure story that should appeal to the general public as well as to sci-fi fans. The novel has been described by a critic as: “somewhat like ‘Thelma and Louise’, with a generous helping of ‘The Million Dollar Man’, and a little dash of ‘Michael Moore’ added”.
