About the Book
My husband and I spent fifteen retirement years (1986 to 2001) constantly traveling. We explored most of the national parks, many big cities, little towns, and every USA scenic road. We took a train under the sea of Japan, rode camels in Africa, took a train on a ferry across the north sea, watched a ladies lawn bowling game in New Zealand. All were self planned and executed trips- fun to plan, fun to do. Often when I spoke of these I would be asked, “Why not write a book about it.” So I did. This is it.
